The mission of the City of Espaņola Booking/Transport Department is to provide for the safe, secure and constitutional confinement of those persons committed to the custody of the facility, either to await trail or upon sentence of the court, and to ensure that all defendants are treated impartially and in accordance with the established law of the United States and the state of New Mexico.
