Planning Commission Application

    I hereby certify that I am the lawful owner(s) of the parcel(s) of land noted within the "project location" section, and consent to the type of action(s) being requested on this form. I hereby permit the City of Española officials to enter upon the property for the purposes of inspection relating to this application. I further acknowledge that any other type of permit (e.g. Development, Building, Utility), cannot be issued while this application is pending.

  6. Notice of time, date and place of the public hearing must be mailed by the applicant via United States Postal Service certified mail, at least 15 days prior to the public hearing, to the property owners of record within 200 feet of the subject property, exclusive of public right-of-way. A sample notice letter will be provided to the applicant for use. Return receipts shall be delivered to the Planning Department prior to the public hearing.

  7. The applicant shall post a "Public Notice" sign on the subject property, a poster not less than 24 inches by 36 inches in size, that shall be provided by the Planning Department. Such poster shall be prominently displayed from a public street and securely placed on the subject property at least 15 calendar days prior to the scheduled meeting. The posting shall note the request, project location and the time, date and location of the scheduled meeting.
